Family Literacy
To foster the foundation for lifelong learning, Downtown Languages works with community partners to promote family literacy. Our Spanish and English literacy programs address the language development of immigrant families. We can provide your agency professional language instruction and proven curriculum design to support your family literacy goals.
Programs we offer:
- Pilas! family literacy for pre- kinder through adults - Lane Educational Service District/Migrant Education Program (LESD/MEP) and Springfield School District
- Pasos al Futuro (Steps to the Future) for Hispanic youth ages 16 - 21- LESD/MEP
- GED Readiness for Hispanic adults to refresh or acquire basic math, reading and writing skills
